Hogmanay 2004 or is it 2005?
Saturday, January 1st, 2005 at 12:03 | by Alistair BaillieWell, it’s the first day of yet another new year – and I am sober. Yep I was boring and spent the bells in with my parents before going to bed around 2ish.
Its strange how while you were young(er) the years seemed to drag in, my time at school always seemed to take ages, yet once I left school and went to university, time seemed to fly past, it really doesn’t seem like 14 weeks since I started my third year at university, and now I only have another 12 teaching weeks left, until my final exams.
So, what’s to be expected this year; Well with luck, and lots of it, I should hopefully graduate from university in October, I will turn to the grand old age of 20 in 22 days on the 22nd of January, my sister will turn 18 in October, and I will possibly start a new course at a new university, dependant on whether I get accepted, and whether I still wish to do it when the time comes.
Not to mention all the unexpected things that will probably happen this year, as always.
So that’s it from me, I wish you all, all the best for 2005 and, to sound American, I hope you all have a nice day.
