I found some more videos that I took while onboard Minerva, which are now on my YouTube channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/AlistairAtSea.
The two latest ones to be added are;
Tendering at Glengariff
Glengariff is on the West coast of Ireland and is a reasonable long tendering run – especially in the Minerva tenders which have a top speed of just under 6kts and are near impossible to steer. Added problems include lots of submerged rocks which are only visible at low tide and the local tourist boats which kept stealing our pier.
This video is a continuation of us leaving the bay where we put the bow into an ice sheet. Lots of brash ice, little growlers and small bergy bits floating around.
