Happy New Year (Even if I’m a bit late)

Well, as predicted it started snowing 20 minutes after I posted on the 31st of December saying it was too cold for snow 🙁 – It never lay though so we wont tell anyone 🙂

Hogmanay was a bit of a damp squib, with most of the Scottish outdoor parties being cancelled including Edinburgh, Dundee & Aberdeen, But Glasgow’s street party went ahead – Not that I had tickets for it.

Funnily it left STV stuffed, since they usually cover the Edinburgh festivities live including the fireworks at Edinburgh Castle, they instead stood around talking to some people.

I stayed in, due to the cold, my neighbours came over first footing after the bells, and I got to bed around 4am.

The only problem I have with Christmas, is it mucks up my sleeping pattern, I now cant get to sleep till 1 or 2am, and I am really tired when I try and get up in the morning, I’ve been sleeping till around 1pm most days. Getting up for work this morning was a problem, even though I’m usually fine. Bring back uni and the 6.30am rises!

I hope you all had a good time over the festive period, and have a great year.
