Well a very Happy New Year to all that read this site.

For anyone interested I spent Christmas with my family and my mum’s parents came round for Christmas dinner.

I got a selection of clothes, DVD’s, chocolates and a new pair of Oakley sunglasses to replace the pair I dropped over the side of the ship – don’t ask how I managed that!

New Year was the usual, spent with family and my dad’s parents came round for dinner on New Years day.

Warsash is looming on the horizon now, with me driving back down to Southampton on Sunday all ready to start back at noon on Monday.

With any luck the next 4 months will go quickly so I can get back to sea.
