Trip number 4

It’s been quite a while but I think its time for an update on what I am doing.

As you probably already know after I left Minerva back in November I moved on to another company and am no longer working with V. Ships. I joined my new ship mid February in Aqaba after the whole Egypt problem prevented me from flying to Cairo as planned! We then repositioned from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean for her scheduled dry dock which took place in Gibraltar at the end of February / start of March.

After a few weeks in dry dock, most of which was spent with random periods of no power / lighting / water / working toilets we re-entered service and I spent the next few months until mid June cruising around the Aegean and Egypt / Israel side of the Med.

I signed off in Istanbul and flew home that day, for once getting home a few hours after leaving ship!
