Some more interviews

We’ll I have just attended an interview with Clyde Marine group for deck officer cadetship training. This is identical to the P&O deck officer cadetship scheme except run by a different company.

Clyde Marine sounds interesting, although they can’t guarantee to place you with a specific sponsoring company, so there is always the risk that I would get assigned to a tanker, which although I probably wouldn’t mind doing, isn’t really the career path I want to take.

Saying that they do place cadets with Royal Caribbean International and Hebridean Island Cruises, as well as a couple of UK ferry companies, and you are allowed to specify a preference.

Tomorrow I am off to another interview with a company called Viking Recruitment down in London, so I am flying down with EasyJet out of Edinburgh nice and early at 6.10am, and flying back on the last flight back from London Luton.

Anyway, until I find out if I am accepted, I shall not mention it again 🙂
